"Era un proyecto que tenía pendiente y que siempre por una u otra cosa quedaba postergado. Sin embargo en esta ocasión nos decidimos y el disco ya es una realidad"
.Con una cuidada producción artística y musical, dirigida por el mismo intérprete, secundado por su hijo Yaco González (integrante de su banda en percusión y coros), la placa recrea con sapiencia, una cuidada selección de clásicos del canto popular.
Jairo contó con la colaboración de Luis Landriscina y se encuentra acompañado en esta producción por un seleccionado de músicos como Leonardo Sánchez y Ariel Acuña en guitarras y charango, Raúl Mercado en aerófonos y charango, Juan Falú en guitarra, Oscar Alem en piano, Raúl Barboza en acordeón, Minino Garay en percusión, Osvaldo Avena en bombos y Daniel Ferrón en bajo eléctrico. El arte de tapa fue especialmente ilustrado por pinturas originales de Rodolfo Campodónico.
"Noticias de mi alma" es el nuevo disco del santiagueño de Frías Raly Barrionuevo.En este nuevo trabajo cuenta con temas propios que reflejan el talento indiscutido que posee como cantautor exponiendo su impronta contemporánea en obras de raíz folklórica, arreglos caractisticos, colaboraciones de su guitarrista Ernesto Guevara, Marcelo Mitre y Horacio Banegas.
"Noticias de mi alma" cuenta con la participación de la reconocida cantante Verónica Condomí en "Llora en mí" y una de las nuevas voces de la música popular como lo es Franco Ramírez en "Chacarera de la espada".
